Cally was found under a bush in our front yard. The neighbor children said they saw a bunch of kittens in a rotten log down the street back in the field. Given Cally came to us covered in rotten log fibers (which we and the vet initially took to be maggots on first blush), we surmise Cally was born in and had lived her early days in the rotten log. Cally was sick, and under-nourished, weighing only 1.25 pounds when she came to us. She has herpes and will be forever on L-Lysine tablets 2x a day. Cally has been on several rounds of antibiotics to clean up her snotty nose and sneezing. She was spayed on Nov. 23, 2009. Today, Cally is growing and doing great! She loves Axl, and they hang out and go everywhere together! She is not yet fond of Patches.
