Robert
Adopted December 7, 2008.
Copper, now named Robert and nicknamed Robert Copper(field), is a purebred beagle from McMurray, PA. He lived with a family with 4 children between Sept. 22, 2001 and Dec. 7, 2008. His family members developed allergies and thus, Robert Copper was networked to find a loving permanent home with us. We love him and he is a very good dog.
Robert Copper-Cops (as he may otherwise be called as well; but you have to say his last name really fast!), has never lived with other dogs before coming here, and he is surprisingly good about interacting with them. Maybe it is becuase he grew up with small kids and so he is chilled and mellow. He is used to his "alone time" sometimes, and prefers sleeping in a crate at night, but has so far been really good about dealing with our diverse pack. He loves to run in the mornings! You will see photos of him in the field! He is a wonderful and welcomed addition to our pack! (Plus, Robert smells really good! And his fur coat is about as soft as Sterling's coat, and Sterling has an amazingly soft coat!)
