Tiny Loved Life and Gave So Much
Our Pets: Tiny

Today, December 3, 2008, Tiny died. It was unexpected. She had been refusing food for about 3 meals, yet running in the fields and enjoying the outdoors. I think her zest for life was fueled by the outdoors, and it gave her energy when she was able to be in the fields sniffing and following her heart and soul.
X-rays today showed a tumor on her heart. When she passed, blood came out of her, so she was being a brave stalwart, because something definitely was not right inside. Beagles are like that. They hide pain. Somehow, they are masters at masking and focusing on the joys of life, on soaking up the outdoors, and on being positive.
Even today, Tiny wanted to go hunt after breakfast - one that she had no interest in eating.
I love Tiny. She loved us. Tiny slept with me, often and I know how she liked her head patted in the mornings and how she snuggled and enjoyed attention when she awoke. Tiny loved life. Tiny gave us so much love that it is indescribable.
And to think she was rejected 8 years ago almost to the day, when she arrived at our home from a Danville shelter.
